The current exhibit in the Washington, DC Visitor Center is titled, "One Hundred Dollar Designs, 1862-2010, the Changing Look of America's $100 Notes." This exhibit explores the numerous design variations to be found on the $100 note.  The $100s on display date from 1862 to the present and include examples of United States Notes, National Bank Notes, Gold Certificate, Silver Certificates, Treasury Coin Notes, and Federal Reserve Notes, as well as models and progressive proofs--all serving to illustrate the many different looks that can be found for a single denomination.
